John Martin has been an illustrator and graphic designer for over thirty years. He’s a graduate of and current adjunct professor of Illustration at the College for Creative Studies. After a ten year stint at Art Staff, he became a freelance illustrator, with clients including McDonalds, Domino’s, Marvel, General Motors, Chrysler, Toyota, Wendy’s, Warner Brothers, Taco Bell, Big Boy, Bosco Sticks, and more. John has been honored to receive many art awards, including being accepted in juried & curated fine art shows by Syd Mead of Star Wars fame and Detroit poster artist, Mark Arminski. More recently, John is the illustrator of the VORDAK THE INCOMPREHENSIBLE book series, authored by Scott Seegert. The two have teamed up again with a new series, SCI-FI JUNIOR HIGH, which is being published by James Patterson’s new imprint at Little Brown. Book 2, CRASH LANDING, releases in February 2018. He lives in Farmington Hills with his wife and three children.
