Robert is an artist/illustrator from Chicago, IL who attended college at the American Academy of Art in downtown Chicago. Robert initially wanted to be a comic book artist but after attending the Academy was introduced to other forms of art that he never considered having any interest in which included watercolor and oil painting. Soon the smell of oils and the swirls of colors in water caused Robert to go into a creative meltdown of sorts as his artistic sensibilities were now provoked. He now needed to decide what type of creative endeavors he would like to move forward with. However that decision was made for him just a month before graduating from the Academy. Robert was offered a position as a conceptual artist/designer at a gifware company called Enesco. It was there he spent 15 years working with other talented artists and another 6 as a designer for PMI, another giftware company. Now Robert is finally making decisions for himself concerning where he’d like to take his art pursuing his own work through Fan Art and Fine Art.
